Usine Ann (Nina) Carr Cheezum, 80, a longtime resident of Prospect Park, passed away peacefully at home on August 6, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Nina was a graduate of Interboro High School. She was retired from the Interboro School District, where she was the payroll administrator retiring in 1993.
Nina was a longtime member of St. James Episcopal Church in Prospect Park, where she served many years on the Vestry, was an usher, and was the church treasurer. She was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Prospect Park Fire Company. She enjoyed bowling in her spare time.
She is survived by her son, James (Sandra); her grandchildren, Bradley, Bethany, and Andrew; her two great-grandchildren; and her brother, Joe (Pen) Carr.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, at 11 A.M. at St. James Episcopal Church, 732 11th Avenue, in Prospect Park, Pa. 19076.
Friends may call on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.
Her interment will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.
