Susan Lynn Fleming

February 21, 1960 – April 27, 2024


Susan Lynn Fleming (Cantafio), 64, of Prospect Park, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2024, due to medical complications following multiple surgeries.

Daughter of the late Virginia and Robert Cantafio, Susan was born February 21, 1960 in Philadelphia and was one of five children. She was a graduate of Interboro High School and resided most of her life in Prospect Park.  Susan enjoyed her days as a bank teller and hostess at Lehman’s Restaurant.

Susan loved spending time with her family.  She adored her children and grandchildren.  She loved to garden and had beautiful plants.  She enjoyed spending time with her family at the mountains, beach, and camping. She loved to draw, create art, sing, and dance. Susan especially enjoyed her time with her daughter and eating at restaurants.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Rachel Gill, sons Joseph (Jennifer) Fleming, Thomas Fleming, five grandchildren, sister Barbara Moore,  brother Robert Cantafio, and numerous nieces and nephews, and long time friend Harry Gill.

In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her brother, Brian Cantafio; and sister Virginia (Ginny) Bello.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Christ Church Ridley Park, 104 Nevin Street, Ridley Park, PA 19078 with her Funeral Service to follow at 11 a.m.   Interment at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army of Chester at 151 W. 15th Street Chester, PA 19013.
