Ruth Anna Wolfenden

Ruth Anna Wolfenden passed away at the age of 97 on August 13, 2023. She was born on August 14, 1925, the daughter of Elmer and Anna Wolfenden, and is survived by brother John Wolfenden (Wilmington, Delaware), sisters Mary Talley (King of Prussia, Pennsylvania), Bette McKinlay (Oak Harbor, Washington), and Anne Akers (Montreat, North Carolina), as well as numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She was predeceased by her parents, and by brothers Thomas Wolfenden and Elmer Wolfenden. Ruth’s long career was in the medical field, and she resided most of her life in Glenolden, Pennsylvania. A private graveside service will be held at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. The family is being assisted by Griffith Funeral Chapel, Norwood, Pennsylvania.
