Ronald F. Cox was born in Ridley Park PA, and passed away at his home in Cherry Hill, NJ on March 28, 2022. Ron graduated from Interboro High School in 1965. He received his BS in Chemical Engineering and his MBA from PMC Colleges (Widener University). He began his career during college at Atlantic-Richfield, becoming a chemical engineer there after graduation, and working in Philadelphia and Illinois. Ron did consulting work and worked at Sunoco until he retired. After retiring he worked part time at Home Depot until his death.
Ron is pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Edna, daughter Dana Noel, and daughter-in-law Sunny (Klingler) Cox.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Susan (Wolf); their children Brian (Erin Peck) of Summerville SC; Darren of Bogota NJ; Alanna Werner (Joshua) of Pottstown PA; and Brianna Humphreville (Charles) of Seattle WA; and 5 grandchildren: Patrick Cox; Ryan, Grace, and Hannah Werner; and Juliet Humphreville, as well as siblings Mary Fisher (Pottstown PA), Beverly Burke (Prospect Park PA) and Larry (Linda) (Pinehurst NC), and many nieces and nephews.
Ron enjoyed playing and watching sports; during high school and college he played baseball and football, and continued playing baseball after college. He enjoyed HO trains, skiing, sailing, golfing, and spending time with family sharing his hobbies as well as the family’s love of the Jersey shore.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday, June 23, from 12 noon to 1pm at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, Pa 19074.

Interment will be private at Christ Church Memorial Garden, Ridley Park PA.
