Kerry A. Freeman, 76, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2022 at Maris Grove’s Rose Court in Glen Mills, PA. He was the son of L. Howard Freeman and Dorothea D. Freeman, and the beloved husband of Linda Knorr Freeman for 53 years until her death in 2021. He is survived by his cousins Patricia Flynn Gemma of Dover, DE, Gary Dent of Media, PA, Karen Rohrer of Ridley Park, PA, Jennifer Rouse of Havertown, PA, and John Gemma of Shalimar, FL; sister-in-law Paula K. Brown of Glenolden, PA; niece Paula B. Brown of Prospect Park, PA; niece Michelle Bilbrough of Aston, PA; and nephew Richard J. Brown of Cochranville, PA. Kerry grew up in Prospect Park, PA, graduated from Interboro High School in Glenolden, PA, and earned his bachelor’s degree at Kutztown State College. His first job was as a teacher. He went on to become Program Manager for Emissions Programs at MCI/Worldcom/Verizon, Editor-in-Chief at Chilton Book Company, and owner of TecFacts Services, LLC. Kerry was an active member of the Prospect Hill Baptist Church for many years. He lived with his wife initially in Glenolden, PA and then in Aston, PA before moving to Venice, FL in 2016. He returned to PA in 2021 and resided at Maris Grove until his death.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Life Celebration on Friday, November 4th, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike in Norwood, Pa. 19074. There will be a visitation time on Friday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. Due to current conditions, face coverings are optional.
