John E. “Jack” Langan

December 24, 1931 – May 16, 2022

Obituary

On May 16th, 2022, Jack grabbed a cup of coffee and a cigar and peacefully drove off in his Chevy Suburban to be with his beloved Sylvia who had departed in 2013. When he arrives he’ll also see his son John Jr who left in 2018.
Born in Philadelphia and a graduate of West Philly High, Jack had a 40+ year career in the trucking industry. He started out of High School as a driver and rose through dispatch and supervisory titles at various national firms. He also had a semi-retirement career working for both the Radnor and Upper Darby School Districts.
Jack served our country for 28 years in the Naval Reserve achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was a proud Seabee of Mobile Construction Battalion #21.
He was also a lifetime member of The Freemasons.
He will be missed by his son Bruce and daughter-in-law Vicki. Also missing him will be his brother Ray(Jeannie), brother-in-law Paul Fejko, sister-in-law Ginny and other family, friends and neighbors. We are all comforted in the knowledge that many friends and family will lovingly welcome him at his destination.
Funeral Service and Interment were private.
