Obituary

Jaclyn Theresa McCord, age 41, of Folcroft, PA, passed away on April 12, 2024. Born on September 21, 1982, Jackie was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.
Jackie was predeceased by her parents, Janice and Robert McCord. She leaves behind her cherished child, Miles McCord; her loving sisters, Kimberly McCord and Kristine Soderland; her nieces, Jessica McCord and Paityn Soderland; her nephew, Mark Soderland; her great nephew, Odin Garay and her great niece, Ophelia Garay.
Jackie’s warmth, kindness, and bright spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Her generosity and compassion were evident in everything she did. Her willingness to give the shirt off her back and her unyielding spirit were known to all. She faced life’s challenges with strength and grace, always showing resilience and determination.
Jackie had a contagious personality, smile, and laugh. Her sense of humor and ability to find joy and laughter in everyday moments were unmatched. Her family and friends will remember her as a vibrant, loving person who could light up any room.
She had big dreams, a bigger heart, and will be missed deeply.
A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074. Relatives and friends are invited to gather and share memories of Jackie during this time. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jackie’s memory to a charity of your choice. Jackie’s legacy of love and compassion will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

    Jackie was best friend my soul sister and we been through the good times and bad but always made it out on top she had a laugh that was contagious and always made a bad day good she was so special to me I will never find such a selfless loving caring soul she never judged me always welcomed me with open arms she definitely took apart of me with her and I’ll do my best to keep her memories alive as she woulda did for me I love you Jackie untill we meet again save me a spot up there !!!

    i remeber my first time ever going to miles house his mother was so sweet called me baby like i was one her kids treated me so nice and just made me feel welcome, im so sorry for your loss, miles keep your head up man❤️
