Charles “Chuck” Raymond Adams, Jr.

June 6, 1960 – January 6, 2022

Charles “Chuck” Raymond Adams, Jr. of Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania, loving husband and father, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 at Crozer Chester Medical Center at the age of 61.
Chuck was born on June 6th, 1960 to the late Charles Sr. and Catherine “Kitty” (nee Connor) Adams.  He attended the Blessed Virgin Mary Elementary School in Darby, PA, graduated from Monsignor Bonner Catholic High School in Drexel Hill, PA and attended Saint Francis of Assisi College in Allentown, PA, where he DJ’d for the college radio station.  While he held various positions over the years, he is best remembered for his work as a Beverage Supervisor at the Ramada Inn and at Harrah’s Casino.   Chuck was married on March 22nd, 1997 to “the girl next door” and they were joyously blessed with a son on February 5th, 2005, who was the light of Chuck’s life.
Chuck loved many hobbies, including sports.  He religiously followed NASCAR, Notre Dame and the Flyers.  But most importantly were his beloved Phillies.  He would always tell stories of how he listened to the games on the radio with his grandfather, William Connor (deceased) growing up.  It was one of his most cherished memories.  Chuck was also an avid movie buff, particularly horror movies.  But everyone who knew Chuck, knew that his passion was music.  He was the DJ of the family, always in charge of music for every occasion.  While he had a very broad palate for many music genres, his all-time favorite rock band was Queen.  But his most loved music tradition, was seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra on every tour, until he was no longer physically able to.
Chuck is survived by his cherished son, Connor William Adams, his wife, Renée Stephanie (nee Liskowycz) Adams, his mother, Catherine “Kitty” (nee Connor) Adams, his brother Robert “Bob” Adams, his sister Catherine “Cat” Adams, nephews William “BJ” Sadler, Ryan Sadler, Patrick Adams, Shawn Adams, niece Katrina Singley, and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Arrangements are being made by Griffith Funeral Chapel in Norwood, PA.  Visitation will be held on Saturday January 15th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Ave, Norwood, PA  19074, with Mass following at 11:00 a.m.  Over the years throughout his medical concerns, especially as a transplant survivor, Jefferson University Hospital became a lifeline for Chuck and for his family.  So, in lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made to the Jefferson Transplant Institute.
