Debra Jane Heasley-Magowan

Heaven has received an angel, Debra Jane Heasley-Magowan.

Debra was a resident of Woodlyn, Pa.  Debra had a small stroke followed by a massive stroke and she was called home by her Savior on Monday, February 1, 2021.

Born on April 4, 1953 in Sharon, Pa., she was the daughter to her late parents Ruth Ester Gibboney Heasley and Alfred A. Heasley.

Deb graduated from Mercer Area High School in 1971 and she also completed office assistant training in 1972.

She met her husband of 44 years, John, at Johnstown, Pa. and they married in 1976.  They moved to Delaware County so they could continue to work together in John's Pretzel business and they continued to work, play, and travel together.  Debbie was a wonderful person, who stood beside John always.  Debbie was his right arm in everything they did.

About two years ago when John's health was downgraded and he was no longer able to withstand the weather changes for his business, they had to stop working.  For the past two years, Deb and John were confined to their apartment with Nurses and Aides who helped to support them, but Debbie continued to keep John company and give him strength.

Debra will be missed tremendously by her husband John; the Magowan/Hegarty family; the Heasley Family; and John and Debbie's best friend Carolyn, along with their many, many friends.

She was predeceased by her brother, Dean Arthur Heasley, (1947-1964).

Debra is survived by her Brother and Sister-in-Law, Bruce and Ann Heasley of Mount Pleasant Mills, Pa. and her Brother and Sister-in-Law Dennis and Joan Heasley of Mercer, Pa.

Her funeral service and interment will be private.
